Casey and Michele’s Engagement Shoot! :: Marietta, GA

Published on February 28th, 2011

Michele and I have known each other for years! I believe we first met in high school science class? I also shot her sister’s wedding in 2009. Casey and Michele are such a great match for one another. They both are such wonderful people to be around. Their upcoming April wedding will be at the gorgeous Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta.

The area around Marietta Square is a special place for Casey and Michele, so it was an obvious place to do their engagement shoot. I’ve shot there a ton over the years, but I always seem to find a few new places/angles every time I’m there.

First up is a few shots with their awesome dog Scooby…

Nathan and Alyssa :: “what caught my eye” :: Wedding at Fernbank Museum of Natural History

Published on February 7th, 2011

Alyssa is my amazing sister-in-law. Here are several images from her and Nathan’s gorgeous wedding at Fernbank!

I’m sure this window is used by every photographer that shoots at Fernbank, but I still love this shot…

My father-in-law Dale, seeing Alyssa for the first time. I know its not the best shot in the world, but who doesn’t love a father’s expression seeing his little girl all dressed up in her wedding dress…

Stephen and Lindsay :: “what caught my eye” :: Wedding at Early Hill Plantation

Published on November 5th, 2010

Stephen and Lindsay’s early fall wedding was simply gorgeous – not a cloud in the blue sky. This was my second time shooting at Early Hill Plantation. The first time was for Matt and Anna’s wedding back in 2007. It’s a fabulous family owned and operated venue with tons of Southern charm. If you’re looking for a venue, I highly recommend it. The staff there does a top-notch job. Check ‘em out! www.earlyhill.com

Next up is a wide shot of the front of the house. Simple and vibrant.

I did a very similar shot to this next one the last time I was at Early Hill, so I couldn’t resist another shot under the massive Oak.

Ok…so everyone who follows my work should know by now that I love exit shots. These shots are usually the most challenging. I got a bit more motion blur than I usually like, but I think for this image it works and captures the moment beautifully.

Congratulations, Stephen and Lindsay!!
