On Friday the 11th of January 2013, we lost one of the sweetest people I’ve had the honor of knowing and photographing, Lucille Whiten Ausborn. Every interaction I had with Lucille and her family was up-lifting. From the engagement shoot, to the wedding, to our most recent newborn and family shoot with her and Greg’s first born, Evan Kendall, Lucille’s great zeal for life was apparent. Even with the short amount of time I spent with Lucille and her precious family, I could definitely sense her thankful heart for the blessings God granted her. I’m thankful to have known her. I’m thankful to have captured the great affection she had for those she loved.
To Lucille and Greg’s baby boy, Evan Kendall: May these images always be a reminder to you of your mom’s kind nature and sweet spirit. I will make sure this post stays live in perpetuity so your mom’s beautiful face is always just a google search away.
This is a beautiful post, Tim. I can’t imagine the pain that Lucille’s family must feel right now, but I’m sure they’re thankful for your beautiful photographs.

Tim, thank you for honoring my sweet friend’s memory. I have been following your blog for a couple of years. You and my sister know one another (marlene) and you also photographed my dear friends Heather and Cliff’s wedding and their miracle baby, Colette last year. Thank you for answering God’s calling by capturing precious moments in all of their lives. Lucille was is amazing person with a beautiful spirit. Thank you for capturing that in your pictures and for making them available so we can enjoy them.

I’m so sorry to hear about this… I went to high school with her. Although I haven’t spoken with her since then, it hurts to find this out.
