Michael and Rachel :: “what caught my eye”

By WCME No Comments

Michael and Rachel’s wedding and reception took place at Tumbling Waters Retreat and Conference Center in Clayton, GA. This was my first time shooting a traditional Jewish wedding and it was AMAZING! Rachel’s father was explaining to me prior to the reception that there would be a “carnival like atmosphere.” Yep, he was right on.

Here is a shot at the end of the ceremony just after Michael broke the glass. “Mozel Tav!”

I wanted to highlight some of the amazingness that went down at the reception and decided I couldn’t just post a couple…

Congratulations Michael and Rachel!!

Tim and Daiva :: “what caught my eye”

Tim and Daiva’s wedding ceremony was held in Greenville, SC at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with their reception following at the Westin Poinsett, Greenville.

This first shot of Tim and Daiva listening to their friends and family during the toast really stood out to me. Not only is it a great shot of the two but it captures in a way how much they appreciate the people in their lives.

fact: Tim and Daiva met in a swing dancing class. Yep, they’re pretty much amazing at it.

and lastly…this one needs no introduction…

Dustin and Heather :: “what caught my eye”

Heather and her family have been friends of mine for years and I was honored when she asked me to shoot her wedding. I also know Dustin from years ago, so it really reminded me of how small the world is when I heard the two were engaged. Dustin and Heather’s beautiful wedding and reception took place at Rose Lawn Museum in Cartersville, GA.

first up is a shot of Dustin in the loft of the barn…

love this shot of Heather’s dad holding the mirror for her…

lastly is a wide shot of the gorgeous ceremony location under all the pecan trees…

Andrew and Brooke :: “what caught my eye”

Andrew and Brooke’s beautiful wedding and reception were held at Primrose Cottage in Roswell, GA. Andrew proudly serves in our armed forces and had several of his fellow soldiers in attendance as you’ll see in the second shot below.

First up is the lovely Brooke showing off her gorgeous dress with some amazing sunlight shining in…

After the “I do” Brooke and Andrew walked through a traditional military saber arch. Upon exiting, the bride gets a smack on the derriere and a hearty “WELCOME TO THE ARMY!”

Lastly is a shot of the happy couple just before driving away…

I had a great time capturing your big day Andrew and Brooke! Thanks for serving our country Andrew!

note: For those currently serving in our armed forces I offer a military discount (active and reserve). Ask me for details!
