Billy and Claire’s wedding ceremony was on the campus of the University of Georgia at the old Chapel. The reception following was held at the gorgeous Visitor’s Center and Conservatory at the State Botanical Garden. It was a mild November day with plenty of bright sunshine. I think Billy and Claire had the largest wedding party I’ve shot thus far with 12 of their closest friends on each side! I could definitely tell that Billy and Claire are blessed with great friendships. now some images….

After the ceremony the sun had already set, so I had to get creative with some off-camera lighting. I can’t stress enough how important it is for photographers to know how to use lights. Had I not known how to utilize my flash off the camera I would have been forced to use a boring flat looking light coming from an on-camera flash. For you photographers out there…if you’d like to learn more about off-camera lighting definitely pay a visit to my good friend and colleague Zack Arias.

Drew and Menna’s wedding took place in Athens, Ga. The ceremony was held at the beautiful Day Chapel on the grounds of the State Botanical Gardens and the reception was held at the Foundry Park Inn.

Wow, Jason and Chelsey had an incredibly beautiful early fall wedding. The location, just outside of Summerville, GA was breathtaking. Both ceremony and reception were held outside in a large pasture overlooking the valley and surrounded by mountains. It was very tough choosing only a few images for this post.
I had just enough daylight left after the ceremony for some portraits…
Jason is the lead singer of the band, High Flight Society. He sang a song to Chelsey during the ceremony and they also played a song that he wrote for her. You can actually listen to a recording of the song here.

Adam and Laura’s wedding took place at the beautiful Meadowlark Gardens in Griffin, GA. Here are a few shots that stood out…
the little flower girl escorted by a special guest…she is so excited and has this look like, “am I really doing this?” Love it.
I always try my best to get the groom’s expression when his bride is walking down the isle. I’d say Adam was happy to see Laura…
It was very dark outside at the reception area, but I always bring my own lights to the party. 🙂
